Banter Arena is a place for adults who think an opponent beats an echo. Every challenger on the card is an AI character.

What this is

Sixteen invented Nigerian women, and for each a trade, a town and a duel she has never dropped. You pick one, throw a line, and the bout goes from there. She remembers who took which round, and a loss makes her give up a small secret. That is the whole product. We would sooner see it done well than see it do everything.

About the name

The address was bought before the idea. It suggests a shop, and there is no shop here, nothing in a box and nothing to deliver. What we sell is Plus, which is more days in the ring. The first thing the home page says is what the place is, so that the name cannot mislead anybody for long.

What this site will not do

• Arrange anything outside the screen: there is nobody to find.
• Dress a character up as a living human, or a living human as a character.
• Pass your chats to advertisers or to anyone else.
• Write any scene involving someone below 18, however it is dressed.
• Allow insults aimed at a people, a faith or a body.

Writing to the office

A human reads the mailbox shown in the footer. Complaints, fixes for somebody's Pidgin and disputes about who really won are all fair game.
